INTERNATIONAL. Women in Travel Thrive’s Day of Impact – a three-day event with a focus on learning, allyship and development – is set to start on 8 June.
As reported, the Thrive initiative was founded by a group of women in the travel sector to help reduce the impact that COVID-19 has on women’s career progression. Its goal is to make connections and open doors for women across the industry through networking events.
Thrive revealed a Signature Match programme aimed at helping women network successfully last month.
Its latest Day of Impact initiative will open on June 8 (1pm EST) with a panel focused on how advocacy, networking and transformation can “open doors and establish a seat at the table for women”.
Day Two, on 9 June, considers allyship and “why allies are critical to women’s success in the workplace” while Day Three (10 June) highlights development and “how to be a badass at life and work”. A career spotlight is also included in the programme.
