Refurbished SkyCourt lounge unveiled at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport

Inside the stylish SkyCourt Lounge, which has been completely refurbished in just two months

HUNGARY. Airport Service Budapest has opened its refurbished 270sq m SkyCourt Lounge at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.

The business lounge is located on the mezzanine level of the SkyCourt area in Terminal 2A. It features a modern, clean design with a built-in buffet area and dining tables, comfortable sofas and armchairs across three rooms.

It is accessible free of charge to business-class passengers of airlines which have a ground services handling contract with Airport Service Budapest. Those include Air China, Air France, KLM, Finnair, China Eastern Airlines, Egyptair, Emirates, Ural Airlines and Tarom.

Open from 4.30am to 9pm daily, the lounge also welcomes Priority Pass members and holders of certain private banking cards. Other travellers may also use the SkyCourt Lounge’s facilitites for a fee.

The food offer incudes sweet and savoury cookies and pastries, freshly-prepared paninis, cereals, yoghurts, salads, snacks and desserts.

Free wifi, mobile phone chargers and Hungarian and foreign newspapers and magazines are also available to guests. The lounge includes a separate area for wheelchair users.

At the ceremonial opening event, Airport Service Budapest CEO Lajos Móró said the primary aim of the lounge is to “make passengers feel good while waiting”. He added: “This is a place any airport in the world could be proud of.”
