Tripidi and Victorinox unveil shop-in-shop at Munich Airport

Victorinox, Swiss lifestyle brand and maker of the Original Swiss Army Knife, has teamed up with German retailer Tripidi to open a new multi-category space at Munich Airport.

Located in Terminal 2 Level 5 Non-Schengen, the airside corner is Victorinox’s largest multi-category space in European travel retail outside of Switzerland. According to the brand, it reinforces the importance of the region in Victorinox’s travel retail expansion.

In a statement, Victorinox said its partnership with Tripidi is focused on growing the brand’s presence in European travel retail, “drawing on strong synergies between Victorinox’s multi-category offer and Tripidi’s retail concept”.

Tripidi features a number of well-known European brands, including Lamy, WMF and Fissler.

The partners have collaborated on six openings in travel retail, with the new Munich corner joining spaces including one at Frankfurt Airport and a shop-in-shop in Vienna Airport.

The Munich Airport shop-in-shop joins Victorinox’s network of over 100 points of sale in European travel retail. It features a wide selection of the multi-tool Original Swiss Army Knife, offering one of the product’s largest line-ups in travel retail.

The products are highlighted on bespoke display units which are designed to improve customer experience, Victorinox said.

The shop-in-shop also presents selected products from across Victorinox’s multi-category offer including travel gear, fragrances, household knives and cutting boards.

Other highlights include luggage from Victorinox’s Spectra 3.0 collection, backpacks from the brand’s new Touring 2.0 line and Wood (masculine) and First Snow (feminine) fragrances.
