Wellbeing house Rituals has relaunched its Eau de Parfum line as The Iconic Collection. The refreshed line features improved design and more sustainable ingredients. It is now available in Rituals’ standalone travel retail boutiques as well as selected shop-in-shops in Europe and Middle East travel retail.
The line was created by Firmenich Perfumer Elise Benat who described it as an homage to ancient fragrance traditions. She said: “I am inspired by the scents around me day to day and working on this project with Rituals has been a great experience.
“Rituals is a brand that is centred on the importance of ancient fragrance traditions and scent memories created through daily moments. It is nice to create scents with this in mind and that are meant to ultimately make the wearer feel happy and confident.”
The Iconic Collection takes inspiration from destinations around the world from the historical cities of Constantinople (now Istanbul) and Kashmir to the landscapes of the Himalayas.
One of the line’s key fragrances, Roi d’Orient, was inspired by the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Another scent, Fleurs de L’Himalaya offers Indian floral scents while Rêve de Hanami evokes the spring gardens in Japan.
The collection is available in standard and refillable travel-sized formats. All perfume bottles can be easily disassembled and are 100% recyclable in line with Rituals’ sustainable commitments.
