Experienced confectionery executive Mathis Dreher has joined Swiss premium chocolate brand Swissone as Sales Manager LATAM & Travel Retail, with a specific remit to develop the travel retail business worldwide.
As reported, Dreher retired from Mondelez International last year after a distinguished 25-year career, including extensive involvement in the travel retail channel. However, he has decided to return to the industry due to his passion for the chocolate and confectionery sector and for travel retail.
Founded by entrepreneur Vernon Stuber, Swissone is a young Swiss chocolate brand (parent company Cocoa Luxury) featuring more cocoa and less sugar than mainstream brands, with no soy or palm oil, and biodegradable foil packaging. The brand is now available in duty free and travel retail.

About Cocoa Luxury and Swissone
Vernon Stuber produced chocolate in Australia for several years, notable for it being without additives and with little sugar.
In 2008, he travelled back to Switzerland with his family. His daughter Charlie, born in Sydney, was a few years old when Stuber, a nutrition-conscious father, noticed that many Swiss chocolate products contained foreign fats and excess sugar. Cocoa Luxury and Swissone were born.
Sterber returned to what he saw as the traditional qualities of Swiss quality chocolate, featuring selected ingredients including fine Fairtrade cocoa beans, more cocoa and less sugar. Cocoa mass is the key ingredient.
The round, bite-sized shape pays homage to Sydney (it evokes the Sydney Harbour Bridge) and each chocolate bar has a small dedication to daughter Charlie.
