Want to talk about your pet subject?*If you would like to feature (with your pet) in a forthcoming edition of this regular column, please contact Colleen Morgan at Colleen@MoodieDavittReport.com |
The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to bring you the latest edition in our Pet-sonality Profile column, in association with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
In this regular fun feature, we discover more about travel retail pet-sonalities, their back stories, traits and habits, as well as offering some insights into their owners. Each pet-sonality will also be painted digitally by pets and equine artist Sami Moodie.
In this edition, we meet JCDecaux Australia General Manager Commercial Bronwyn (Bron) Clementson and Harvey, a walks-and-water loving Groodle.
Name + nickname: Harvey
Breed: Harvey is a Groodle. That’s a male Lagotto poodle crossed with a female golden retriever.
How old is Harvey? Harvey will be seven on Boxing Day (26 December).
How did you meet? We met Harvey in Bathurst, regional New South Wales, Australia, when he was only four weeks old.
Love at first sight? Absolutely!
Quirky habits? WFH (Working From Home) has been interesting with Harvey through COVID and beyond. He loves human attention and has to be the centre of attention at all times.
When a Teams call comes through, he will bark for attention and constant patting rather than allow me to speak on the call.
Funniest and/or nicest moment? When Harvey was a puppy, he had a haircut and what we didn’t know is that it would include a blow-dry. He was extremely fluffy and completely unimpressed by his transformation. We had to leave the room to laugh.
Harvey’s favourite trick? And treat? Transforming a big stick into a matchstick-sized one through chewing and then leaving the remains strewn across the floor.
It’s fair to say that anything edible is Harvey’s favourite treat.
If Harvey could talk what would be his/her first words? Feed me! I am sooo hungry.
Anything else we should know? Harvey is a big, 31kg boy but very loving (aka needy), walks-and-water loving, food-obsessed member of our family.
His love of food is so significant that when my son was little, he used to hide under a basket to eat, to stop Harvey taking his food (see above).
