Ever Rich Duty Free has bolstered its operations at Taoyuan International Airport with five new food & beverage options, including an expanded range of authentic Taiwanese cuisine.
Key openings include Wang’s Broth near C5 gate in Terminal 2. Originating in 1975 at the vibrant Huaxi Street Night Market in Taipei, Wang’s Broth’s third generation carries on the culinary traditions passed down from the Wang family’s grandfather.
The restaurant is best known for its steamed minced pork with pickles in broth and ‘black gold’ braised pork rice (pictured above). These dishes have helped Wang’s Broth to earn recognition from the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand’s Choice Awards*, a rating held by the business for the past three years.
As an option for passengers looking for quick eats, Ever Rich Duty Free has introduced local fast food giant TKK Fried Chicken. With over 70 franchises spread across the island, TKK is renowned for its Taiwan-style fried chicken.
The restaurant offers a diverse menu which includes crispy fried chicken, burgers and Kwa Kwa Bao. Through its beverage brand Kung Fu Tea, TKK also provides passengers with Taiwan’s famous boba tea and other tea options.
Ever Rich Duty Free has also partnered with Taiwanese craft beer brand Sunmai to introduce a bar near B7 gate in Terminal 1. It offers a variety of beers and snacks, including Buffalo Wings. Sunmai’s honey beer is another standout. The beverage earned a prestigious gold medal in the 2022 European Beer Star Awards, the first Asian brewery to receive this honour.

Quick snack options are available at Le Moût Pâtisserie Boulangerie. With bread kneaded and baked on the premises, Le Moût offers passengers the choice and aroma of freshly-made goods. The store has a contemporary design featuring marble walls, neutral-coloured display shelves and touches of gold.
Ever Rich Duty Free President Kevin Chiang expressed his “immense pride in presenting the finest offerings from Taiwan to passengers”.
He added, “As an airport retailer, our commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction remains unwavering.”

Ever Rich Duty Free has also introduced 24-hour operating EZ Dinging vending machines at the airport, offering a convenient way for passengers to grab a hot meal in just three minutes.
The machines feature a diverse collection of Taiwanese delicacies from various regions, from rice with pork rib to Chiayi-style chicken rice.

Ever Rich Duty Free noted that this initiative represents “a first step towards implementing intelligent retail services and serves as a significant endeavour in the transformation of Taoyuan Airport into a smart airport”.
*The Michelin Bib Gourmand’s Choice Award highlights “best value for money” restaurants which offer three course meals at a reasonable price. The price limit for Bib Gourmand consideration varies from country to country, depending on the cost of living.
