CHINA. Shenzhen Duty-Free Group-owned Times DF Haikou Mission Hills this week partnered with Camus Cognac to host the Shenzhen Duty-Free Camus Golf Invitational at Haikou Mission Hills.
The event, held on 17 September, marked the second collaboration between the two companies, one designed to seamlessly combine the offshore duty free experience with the pleasures of golf and fine liquor tasting.
The tournament was spearheaded by Times DF Haikou Mission Hills, with Haikou Tiger Tourism Services Co and Haikou Mission Hills Golf Club as lead organiser and co-organiser respectively, and Camus as title sponsor.
During the tournament, the Camus flagship boutique at Times DF Haikou Mission Hills, opened on 18 December 2021, unveiled a series of enticing promotions. These offered customers and tournament participants a personalised, diverse, and high-quality selection of duty free items.
Camus is one of the world’s top five Cognac brands and the largest family-owned Cognac house. Its 160 years of heritage, family entrepreneurship, and craftsmanship are beautifully showcased at the brand’s Times DF Haikou Mission Hills boutique.
Tasting counters were set up, staffed by Brand Ambassadors who shared their expertise on Cognac tasting with guests. A flash sale promotion was held as a gesture of appreciation for customer loyalty and support.
Featured products included Camus Cognac Extra Elegance; the limited-edition Camus Xo Borderies Family Reserve Cognac; the new Camus XO blend, and other offerings. Offline store customers were treated to special discounts and complimentary branded gifts.
Prior to the tournament, Times DF Haikou Mission Hills extended an exclusive invitation to participants and senior executives from related sectors, offering them an immersive journey into the world of classic French luxury embodied by Camus.
Guests were able to delve deep into the brand’s culture and the qualities of each expression. As part of the ‘Camus Master Blender’ experience, guests had the rare opportunity to create their own personalized eau de vie based on their preferences.
At the awards dinner, Camus China Duty Free Director Michael Hu congratulated the winners, participants, organiser and co-organiser.
The dinner featured a lucky draw sponsored by Times DF Mission Hills, Haikou Tiger Tourism Services and Haikou Mission Hills Golf Club. As an added boon, VIP memberships were offered to guests and tournament participants.
As the title sponsor of the campaign, Camus provided four outstanding beverages for the dinner: Camus XO Borderies Family Reserve Cognac, Bunnahabhain Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Château Loudenne Les Jardins Bordeaux Rouge, and Château Loudenne Les Jardins Bordeau Blanc.
