US. Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) plans to host a concessions event to encourage existing and new partners to learn more about the opportunities ahead at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

On 1 November, the O’Hare International Airport Concessions (ORD) Symposium takes place in Chicago, with invitations extended to entrepreneurs, small business owners and local restaurateurs to meet with prime concessionaires. The event is being advertised via The Moodie Davitt Report (see our home page banner).

The event promises to empower attendees with partnership prospects that will lead to future concession opportunities at O’Hare International Airport.

They will learn more about the requirements needed to obtain certification as an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise (VBE) and Business Enterprise Owned by People with Disabilities (BEPD). ✈
