TÜRKIYE. Woodford Reserve has opened a pop-up lounge at Istanbul International Airport to introduce travellers to its American whiskey range. The sensorial experience, a partnership with Unifree Duty Free and Gebr. Heinemann, runs 24 hours a day until 31 December.
“This sensory lounge will be a spectacle of the senses that take visitors through a Woodford Reserve journey,” said Elizabeth McCall, Master Distiller at Woodford Reserve. “By engaging the five senses, we will introduce consumers to Woodford Reserve and bring the travel shopping experience to new heights.”
Woodford Reserve has partnered with Usla Akademi, a leading culinary academy in the country. Together they have crafted a special bonbon to give travellers the tasting experience of Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

A range of Woodford Reserve bottles are available to purchase, including Bourbon, Malt, Double Oaked, Batch Proof series and the Baccarat Edition. The Istanbul Airport Personal Selection edition of Distiller’s Select, which can only be purchased in Istanbul Airport, is also available.
With the purchase of two bottles, consumers will receive a branded Istanbul tote bag.
