USA. WHSmith North America, incorporating Marshall Retail Group and InMotion, has named Paul Heflin as Vice President of Design & Construction.
Heflin is an architect with almost 40 years of experience with firms including Leo A Daly, Ewing Cole and The Hillier Group. He previously held the role of Private Market Director, Buildings at Woolpert, a Washington DC-based architecture, engineering, geospatial and strategic consulting firm.
In travel retail, he spent seven years as Vice President for Design and Construction at SSP America.
Before that, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Principal at HDR Architecture in Washington DC.
WHSmith North America Chief Development Officer Roddy McOwan said: “We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the team and are confident that his knowledge, professionalism and innovative spirit will be a great asset as we head into the new year.
