WHSmith North America brings Chicago’s history and culture to O’Hare with local clothing brand ChiBoys

ChiBoys was created to represent Chicago through what the brand calls stylish and innovative fashion

US. WHSmith North America, incorporating Marshall Retail Group and InMotion, has partnered with Chicago fashion brand ChiBoys to open a fashion concept at O’Hare International Airport Terminal 3.

A clothing brand that “plays off of the history, architecture and culture of Chicago”, ChiBoys offers Chicago-themed items such as t-shirts, hoodies, outerwear and other apparel, as well as hats and accessories.

From a summer festival tent to introducing the first mobile clothing truck in Chicago, ChiBoys now enjoys a rapidly growing presence with several brick-and-mortar locations in the city.

The concept is among the concession agreements that are part of the airport’s US$8.5 billion expansion programme, known as O’Hare 21 – an initiative designed to upgrade facilities and offer new passenger amenities at the airport.

As reported, the Chicago Department of Aviation, in partnership with Chicago Hospitality Partners, opened The Hampton Social and Bar Siena at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Terminal 5 on 16 January. ✈
