SINGAPORE. Fast-growing coffee brand Bacha Coffee has unveiled its latest location at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2.

The opening marks the heritage Moroccan brand’s* continued expansion across all four terminals within the Singaporean gateway, bringing the number of boutiques to five. Bacha Coffee began its Changi journey in late 2022 by launching its largest destination in the world at T3, a 7,000sq ft boutique and takeaway destination.

The T2 location spans more than 400sq m and encompasses a coffee boutique and takeaway concept.

Adorned in Bacha Coffee’s signature embellishments of stained glass, carved wood and iconic motifs from ceiling to its black-and-white marbled tiles, the new Bacha Coffee location is a timely addition to the recently refreshed T2.

Visitors can browse ochre-hued canisters that line the walls, each filled with 100% Arabica that offers rich aromas for shoppers to savour.

Categorised as single origin, fine blended, fine flavoured and naturally CO2 decaffeinated coffees, Bacha Coffee offers a curated collection of more than 200 coffees from 35 renowned producing countries around the world.

“As the world reopens, part of our expansion strategy shifts towards enhancing the travel retail component of Bacha Coffee’s customer touchpoints globally,” said Taha Bouqdib, President & CEO of V3 Gourmet, which owns the brand (and TWG Tea).

V3 Gourmet is a global luxury gourmet lifestyle group that owns a range of food, beverage, retail brands and destinations, including TWG Tea and Bacha Coffee.

“This dovetails the brand’s holistic customer journey, which seamlessly flows between brick-and-mortar and online experiences – an ecosystem which includes retail boutiques, dine-in coffee rooms, takeaway concepts and eCommerce (main story continues after The Moodie Blog).

*ABOUT BACHA COFFEE

Bacha Coffee specialises in 100% Arabica coffees, providing customers with a unique opportunity to travel the world through their cup by exploring harvests from over 30 of the most well-reputed coffee producing countries.

Its story began at the medina of Marrakech, Morocco. Built in 1910, the spectacular Dar el Bacha palace – which means ‘House of the Pasha’ – was famous for its ‘Coffee of Arabia’, or Arabica as it is known today.

After the Second World War, the palace was closed and fell into decay. Eventually, after two years of restoration Dar el Bacha was reopened in late 2017 as the Museum of Cultural Confluences.

To restore the courtyard and adjacent private rooms of this listed historic monument, Bacha Coffee brought together numerous experts in their fields. Architects, historians and craftsmen worked together to preserve and revitalise the landmark. This included the installation of a spectacular glass roof, the decoration of every room, and placement of every chair and table.

After its reopening in Marrakech, Bacha Coffee rooted its headquarters in Singapore and expanded internationally, opening boutiques, coffee rooms and takeaway concepts in Asia, the GCC region and France. The BachaCoffee.com online boutique ships internationally and Bacha Coffees are distributed in luxury hotels, restaurants and airlines around the world.
