Avolta extends presence at John Wayne Airport in California with 15-year contracts

USA. Travel experience player Avolta has struck multiple 15-year agreements covering food & beverage, travel convenience and speciality retail at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.

The contracts embrace 3,500sq m of space for Avolta operating brands Hudson (travel retail) and HMSHost (F&B) across terminals A, B, and C and extends the group’s presence at a key regional location.

The agreements will result in the opening of over a dozen dining venues, including outposts of several Orange County-born brands: Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Sgt. Pepperoni’s Pizza Store, Tacos La Piña, Five Vines Wine Bar, Chaupin Bakery and Left Coast Brewing, as well as five new Hudson-branded retail stores, including two travel convenience and three speciality retail concepts.

New vending options dubbed OC To Go (OC stands for Orange County) will also come to John Wayne Airport, serving hot, made-to-order pizza, Krispy Kreme donuts, Wow Bao bao and dumplings, fresh salads, smoothies and coffee. A revamped Ducks Breakaway Bar will offer a new look and menu, along with several quick-service brands, including Dunkin’, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Auntie Anne’s, Bonchon, The Habit Burger Grill and Earl of Sandwich.
