
Pernod Ricard has introduced Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute collection comprising The Original Reserve, The American Oak Reserve and The Peated Reserve.
The Peated Reserve will be exclusively available in travel retail through Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (GTR) starting this autumn.
The collection aims to capture the essence of the 62-gun salute spectacle, British monarchy’s ceremonial honour fired on state occasions from the Tower of London.
Royal Salute has also announced a new brand home for the range: an exclusive suite inside the 13th-century Martin Tower, once home to the Crown Jewels. This space will be accessible only to high-net-worth individuals and select global travel retail partners by invitation only.
The Peated Reserve blends over 50 precious whiskies, including malts from the Caperdonich distillery in Rothes, Scotland. This exclusive edition features a hint of smoke, evocative of the drifting smoke from the gun salute cannons at the conclusion of the ceremonial firing.

The expression delivers dark cherries, ripe pears and green apples on the nose, giving way to blossom honey, milk chocolate honeycomb and orange marmalade.
On the palate, it incorporates orange zest and lemon sherbet, layered upon notes of ripe peaches, Jamaican ginger cake, toasted oak and peat smoke.
Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop hand selected long-matured malt and grain whiskies to create the 62 Gun Salute blends.
