Mercan joined L’Oréal Travel Retail in 2020 at the height of the COVID pandemic. Commenting on her departure from the team, Mercan said: “A flashback to 2020, back to the time I have joined travel retail in the middle of COVID. Since then, it has been a challenging, exciting and rewarding adventure all at the same time.

“I feel so lucky to have met you all. All these challenging years we have all done our part in the time of reinvention and transformation for our industry through creative and fresh new ideas.

“While it is sad to leave our beloved channel, I thank you all for the support, kindness and generosity all these years. I look forward to spending time together one last time in Cannes for farewells and also to celebrate an exciting new beginning.” ✈
