HMSHost seals two-year contract extension at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport

USA. Travel restaurateur HMSHost International, part of Avolta, has extended its food & beverage contract at Milwaukee General Mitchell International (MKE) Airport for another two years.

Under the extension agreement, the global restaurateur will continue managing its dining outlets through 2031, with a focus on expanding the F&B offerings at the airport to elevate the passenger experience.

Through the partnership, the airport’s busy concourses have been transformed into a dynamic dining scene. HMSHost has developed an F&B programme showcasing well-known dining brands including Starbucks and Chili’s, alongside popular homegrown restaurants Cousins Subs, Garden District Kitchen and Bar, and Miller Brewhouse.

The company currently operates ten dining concepts at Milwaukee International Airport as a joint venture with Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) partners Limitless Brands and Newburns Management Group.

The latest Dunkin’ location is among the stand-out additions to an enhanced dining programme at Milwaukee International Airport

HMSHost recently extended its footprint at the airport with the opening of American coffee chain Dunkin’ in Concourse D – the first of two to open at the Milwaukee travel hub.

A second Dunkin’ location is set to launch later this year in Concourse C.

General Mitchell International Airport Director Brian Dranzik said: “MKE Airport is known for its excellent customer experience, offering the friendly convenience of a small airport, with the capabilities and amenities of a large airport. Our partnership with HMSHost allows us to cultivate an outstanding airport dining experience by providing a blend of popular favourites alongside local Milwaukee flavours.

“The unveiling of two new Dunkin’ locations at MKE has already been met with excitement from travellers, and we look forward to working with HMSHost to enhance the passenger experience even more in the years to come.”

HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Stephen Douglas added: “HMSHost is pleased to continue to grow our valued partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and we can’t think of a better way to continue this exciting journey together than by bringing not one, but two Dunkin’ locations to the terminal. We have no doubt that passengers will love this evolution of the food & beverage options.

“We look forward to continued collaboration that will further enhance this dynamic airport’s concessions offerings as we deliver on our promise to make every journey as rewarding as the destination for travellers.” ‍
