GERMANY. Sparkling wine producer Henkell Freixenet has rolled out a brand activation at Düsseldorf International Airport in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann, highlighting the brand’s premium sparkling wine range.

Running from 1 June to 31 July in Terminal C1, the campaign spotlights what is described as Germany’s most exported Sekt brand through an impulse podium designed to engage international travellers.
The promotional space showcases Henkell’s Trocken, Brut Vintage and Rosé, alongside the Henkell Piccolo 3-pack and the travel retail-exclusive 5-pack, which marks its 90th anniversary this year.
The podium integrates visual elements from Henkell’s latest campaign, with a sleek design to capture passengers’ attention.
To encourage trial and purchase, a dedicated brand ambassador will be on site to offer tastings and share product knowledge.
Henkell Freixenet Head of Sales Global Travel Retail Ramon Olive said, “We are delighted to offer travellers the Henkell range in such a unique spot during the high-frequented summertime. This privileged space within the airport allows Henkell to showcase its entire range of products available in the store and create an impact in front of travellers.
“Activations like this, at key times such as holidays, provide consumers with a unique experience to complete this important and eagerly awaited time of the year. These activations help us create meaningful moments and make our brands universally known, desirable and accessible.” ✈
