‘A new era of sophistication’ – Henkell Freixenet unveils duo of French sparkling wines

Sparkling wine specialist Henkell Freixenet has extended its sparkling wine portfolio with Brut Royal and Rosé Royal.

Following its strong presence in the global Prosecco market, Freixenet is bringing 150 years of winemaking tradition to France.

The launch is being supported by a campaign designed to capture the spirit of the French Riviera
Freixenet Brut Royal and Rosé Royal are crafted using Chardonnay and Colombard grapes grown in the south-west of France

Made from high-quality grapes, Brut Royal and Rosé Royal offer crisp flavours, blending Freixenet’s Mediterranean flair with French elegance. The wines are presented in what is described as elegant haute couture-inspired packaging.

Freixenet Brut Royal is made with carefully selected grapes from the south-west of France, one of the world’s best winegrowing regions where the environment is ideal for cultivating Chardonnay and Colombard.

The wine offers high aromatic intensity with aromas of stone and tropical fruits combined with notes of orange blossom and wildflowers.

Freixenet Brut Royal French Sparkling has already been awarded with a gold medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxellles (Sparkling Edition).

Freixenet Rosé Royal offers a balanced acidity and slight sweetness, with aromatic notes of roses, violets and tropical fruits of lychees and apricots.

On the palate, balanced acidity contrasts with the slightly sweet flavours, with bubbles that accompany but do not dominate, and a creaminess that creates a ‘wine-like’ sparkler.

The sparkling wine duo is available at select retailers in the UK from August at an RRP of £13 (US$17) a bottle, and from September in Brazil for RRP R$110,00 (US$19). ✈
