‘A taste of Hong Kong’ – Plaza Premium First rolls out signature XO Sauce at Hong Kong Airport

Dubbed the ‘King of Sauces’, the XO Sauce brings an added burst of flavour to savoury dishes

HONG KONG, CHINA. Travel hospitality specialist Plaza Premium Group’s First lounge brand has introduced its signature XO Sauce across its lounges and dining venues at Hong Kong International Airport.

Presented in sleek, travel-friendly jars, the sauce serves as a thoughtful gifting option and allows travellers to take home Hong Kong’s rich culinary flavours.

The sauce is available in two sizes – 180g for HK$288 (US$37)/1,888 ST Points and 100g for HK$188 (US$24)/1,488 ST Points.

Handcrafted by Chinese chefs at Plaza Premium lounges, the XO Sauce has been prepared in-house since 2007 without the use of machines or factories. A staple in Hong Kong Airport’s kitchens, the condiment was created to complement the signature fish ball noodle soup served in the lounges for over 20 years.

Plaza Premium First XO Sauce combines traditional ingredients including dried scallops, dried shrimp and shrimp roe, and is made without preservatives to maintain its authenticity.

It offers rich, savoury, spicy and umami flavours, enhancing signature dishes such as rice rolls and fish siu mai.  ‍
