SWITZERLAND. Swiss chocolate brand Villars is collaborating with Lagardère Travel Retail in an innovative activation at Geneva Airport.
In the Swiss hub’s Place Centrale, the promotion started on 28 August and will run until 24 September.
The activation adds a touch of retailtainment to the Swiss chocolate-making tradition, featuring a real-size milking cow and encouraging travellers to ‘step into the shoes of a dairy farmer’. This interactive element highlights the meticulous process behind producing the milk that is the cornerstone of Villars’ milk chocolates. Visitors who try the milking cow game receive a complimentary Villars milk chocolate bar.
Lagardère Travel Retail Switzerland Purchasing Director Marie Lafille said: “We’re excited to partner with Villars for this unique activation at Geneva Airport. The real-size milking game offers travellers an interactive way to experience the best of Swiss tradition, reflecting Villars’ rich heritage and playful spirit.
“We look forward to sharing the distinctive charm of Villars and this exciting event with every passenger who travels through Geneva airport.”
The Geneva Airport activation, with a podium designed to reflect Villers’ DNA and brand identity, showcases bestselling lines including the Swiss Game Napolitains Box.
Villars Europe Travel Retail Manager Yolanda Del Mazo commented: “We are excited to bring this activation to Geneva Airport. Our goal is to offer travelers an engaging and educational experience that celebrates the tradition of Swiss chocolate-making.
“By partnering with Lagardère Travel Retail and Geneva Airport, we are able to reach a diverse international audience and share the story behind our beloved Villars Swiss milk chocolates.” ✈
