A trio of white florals: Coty extends Gucci Bloom fragrance line

Coty has revealed the next chapter of the Gucci Bloom story with a new collection and campaign from Gucci Creative Director Sabato De Sarno.

The Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum, Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum Intense and Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette fragrances launched in Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific travel retail on 1 March.

The Gucci Bloom collection begins with the Eau de Parfum, which blends notes of jasmine, tuberose and rangoon creeper accord. Rangoon creeper was discovered in South India and sees its blossoms change from white to pink and finally to red when it blooms.

The line was extended with the Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum Intense and Eau de Toilette. Both expressions retain the white floral accord of the original while offering subtle differences.

A South Indian rangoon creeper accord is the central note in the white floral heart of the Gucci Bloom franchise

Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum Intense is inspired by moonlight. It adds a sensual patchouli and crystal moss base and orange blossom top notes to the signature white floral jasmine and tuberose heart of Gucci Bloom. It has been infused with Lady of the Night, a white flower that only blooms at night.

Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette is inspired by the light of dawn and morning dew. It opens with fresh neroli, lemon, mandarin and bergamot notes. Orange blossom blends with the white floral tuberose, jasmine and rangoon creeper notes at the heart, creating a light yet feminine fragrance.

Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum Intense features Lady of the Night accords, while Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette has been infused with sparkling bergamot

All Gucci Bloom scents were created by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas and come in 10ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml formats.

The fragrances are housed in distinctive square bottles. The original Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum has an elegant powder-pink opaque flacon with a lacquered porcelain effect appliqued with the Gucci label. The outer carton is covered in herbarium, the fashion house’s red and white Toile de Jouy print of leaves, cherry branches, flowers and butterflies.

Gucci Bloom Eau de Toilette is presented in a translucent bottle with frosted pink lacquering, while Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum Intense comes in a dramatic black and gold colour palette and features a cosmic motif. Both feature the herbarium print across the outer packaging.

The Gucci Bloom campaign is set in a floating garden and features elegant women who evoke femininity, joy and freedom. ✈
