INTERNATIONAL. Authentic Brands Group (ABG), owner of a global portfolio of fashion, sports, celebrity, media and entertainment brands, and Global Brands Group today announced the signing of a long-term licensing deal for US fashion brand Jones New York.
Under the agreement, Global Brands will design, produce, and distribute Jones New York products across multiple categories, including womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, accessories and footwear. ABG said it is developing an omni-channel marketing strategy in a bid to activate the brand with new creative, messaging and key initiatives across all media channels including social, digital, print, out-of-home, in-store and public relations.
Jones New York currently generates retail sales of around US$1 billion across department stores in the USA as well as key international markets including Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
The first range of Jones New York products produced in collaboration with Global Brands will launch in Fall 2016.
