Acqua di Parma dazzles with new boutique at cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex

Acqua di Parma brings Mediterranean style to Hainan with a standalone boutique at the cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex
The brand’s signature Parma yellow colourway features prominently throughout the boutique

CHINA. Italian fragrance house Acqua di Parma, part of LVMH Group, has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to open a standalone boutique at the recently inaugurated cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex.

The opening marks an important milestone in Acqua di Parma’s travel retail expansion and its partnership with CDFG.

The 27sq m boutique is located on the second floor. It is designed with the brand’s black, white and neutral colour palette, accented with chiaroscuro (contrast) effects that evoke Italian landscapes.

The brand’s signature Parma yellow hatbox hangs on the wall and serves as a clever art installation. Elsewhere, an eye-catching candle wall display is a standout feature and highlights the Acqua di Parma Home Collection alongside new releases.

The store offers Acqua di Parma’s Colonias, Signatures of the Sun and Blu Mediterraneo lines. The Acqua di Parma collection is displayed along the walls, embellished with a marble paint effect.

The Colonias, Signatures of the Sun, and Blu Mediterraneo lines are showcased in a display with a resin backdrop. The backdrop is decorated with the Acqua di Parma coat of arms, which is reminiscent of a seal-wax stamp.

Notably, the boutique features a patio area which shines the light on the Blu Mediterraneo range. The patio wall is decorated with vibrant frescoes made by Italian atelier Pictalab.

The frescoes feature golden fruits that embody the essence of Colonia. Here, a video wall takes customers on a visual journey through the Italian Mediterranean.
