IRELAND. The latest industry position to be advertised in The Moodie Report’s hugely successful Jobs section is a key post at Aer Rianta International: Global Category Manager – Perfumes & Cosmetics.
Aer Rianta International is one of the world’s leading airport retailers and the company is expanding rapidly in all of its key markets: North America, Canada, the Caribbean, Russia, Ukraine, Europe and the Middle East.
It noted: “Our purchasing operations are becoming increasing global in nature and we now need a highly experienced Category Manager who has the ability to drive the development of this critical category forward in the future. This position will report to the Group Head of Procurement and Supply.
“The Global Category Manager will be responsible for developing a Group purchasing strategy for perfumes and cosmetics which optimises revenue, profit and growth. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Group’s regional retail operations to understand their local requirements and to identify and implement buying synergies across all regions for the benefit of Aer Rianta International and its business partners.
“This is a truly unique opportunity for a dynamic buyer with a global vision for the future and with at least ten years’ experience in the travel retail business.
“The ability to drive and implement new ways of doing business across a complex organisation and multiple geographical regions are essential requirements for the role. Potential candidates must also demonstrate extensive experience of working with the leading perfume and cosmetics suppliers.”
Given the global nature of this role, this position may be based outside of Ireland.
