FRANCE. Aeroboutique Inflight Retail (AIR) has announced that its French subsidiary, Logair, has been awarded a three year concession contract to operate the Air Austral inflight long-haul sales programme.
Air Austral is a French airline based in La Réunion, the French overseas department in the Indian Ocean. Air Austral has been operating a regional network for many years to Johannesburg, Mauritius and Seychelles, and from 28 June will begin a long-haul daily service between Saint Denis in La Réunion and Paris.
Logair is a new joint-venture created by AIR and Servair, France’s leading catering company. AIR said the new contract reflects the capacity of Logair to offer a no-fuss full-concession service, including marketing, inflight technology, crew training and all aspects of logistics, including the handling of carts up to the aircraft.
Aeroboutique Inflight Retail is the inflight subsidiary of the Aelia Group.
