UK. AeroParker says it has improved its car park and ancillary pre-book e-commerce platform, offering an all-in-one payment solution that maintains the highest levels of security.
The company says passengers can make one-touch payments in a similar fashion to Uber and Airbnb, without the need to redirect to another site for checkout, which AeroParker believes reduces the chance of basket abandonment.
A payment gateway has been added to the platform, which ensures that online pre-bookers only have to enter their username and password the first time, with the ability to pay on other merchant sites without having to re-authenticate on subsequent occasions.
“The airport parking industry is an extremely competitive complex market. When selling online, airports need to reassure customers that their information is in safe hands, from the second they start browsing the site to the moment they receive an email confirming their purchase,” said AeroParker CEO Jon Keefe.
“When customers shop online there’s an increasing level of trust between retailers and shoppers, so making the online purchasing experience simple and easy is absolutely essential.”
