FRANCE. Aéroports de Paris (AdP) has launched an online travel booking service on its www.aeroportsdeparis.fr website, in conjunction with Expedia Private Label.
Passengers using the service will be able to book flights, hotels, visits, car rentals, attractions (shows, tours, excursions) and be able to benefit from Group Aéroports de Paris exclusive commercial offers (notably discount vouchers in AdP boutiques).
This service is being offered from the www.aeroportsdeparis.fr website home page, and also through a free Wi-Fi connection in Orly and Charles de Gaulle airport terminals.
Further online services – such as lounge and parking space bookings – are other possibilities for the future.
The launch highlights the commitment of AdP to increasing its range of services to passengers from the start of their travel planning, and capitalising on the success of the new version of its Internet site (launched last July).
The partnership between AdP and the online travel global leader will enable AdP clients to benefit from the most complete offer in the market, the company claims.
Expedia Private Label ensures online booking, client follow-up and the collection of client data for AdP. The two partners will collaborate closely for a permanent optimisation of offered services and visitor-oriented marketing actions.
An English version of the site will be online in about ten days’ time.
AdP Marketing, Retail and Communications Director Pascal Bourgue commented: “We have chosen Expedia Private Label for its expertise as a global leader. Our visitors will be able to book hotels, cars, trips and so on in just a few clicks while visiting the Aéroports de Paris site.
“From travel preparation to the plane gate through the reception in the terminals, AdP is following through on its strategy to upgrade the quality of its services.”
Expedia Private Label Vice-President David Roche added: “We are glad that a partner as prestigious as AdP has recognised Expedia Private Label’s ability to supply the best and largest travel offer. Thanks to this partnership, AdP’s website will become essential in the French online travel world.
“This unique agreement in Europe illustrates perfectly the legitimacy, the added value and the potential of our partnership offer for European online travel actors in the largest sense.”
