Air Canada extends catering partnership with gategroup for three years

CANADA. Air Canada has extended gategroup company Gate Gourmet Canada’s catering contract by three years.

Gate Gourmet Canada offers services such as hub operational support, menu design, culinary consistency, worldwide meal ordering and retail onboard managed services.

“Canada is an important market of our North America region and gategroup is proud to remain a strategic partner to Air Canada and to support the airline through its future growth plans,” said gategroup CEO Xavier Rossinyol.

Air Canada Vice President Product Andrew Yiu commented: “Air Canada was named North America’s Best Airline in 2017 by Skytrax and our onboard products and services have been crucial to our success winning this distinction for six of the last eight years.
