Airmall USA opens bakery concept at Pittsburgh International Airport

US. Airport concessions developer Airmall USA has opened bakery concept Bruegger’s Bagels at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The 1,372sq ft (127sq m) store is located in Concourse B and serves New York-style bagels, sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. This is Bruegger’s first location at Pittsburgh International and its fifth airport location in the US.

“Bruegger’s offers travellers the perfect bite on the go for breakfast, lunch or dinner,” said Airmall Pittsburgh Vice President of Development Jay Kruisselbrink. “With a menu of take-out items, such as an egg sandwich on a freshly baked bagel as well as a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and soups, Bruegger’s is bound to become a traveller favourite. We’re pleased to welcome them to the concessions programme at the Airmall at Pittsburgh.”

To mark the grand opening of Bruegger’s at Pittsburgh, the restaurant will be hosting an event on Wednesday 18 July. That day, travellers and employees will be offered US$0.99 cent bagels with cream cheese and US$0.99 cent medium coffees to celebrate the opening. In addition, all guests that day can enter to win one of ten 2012 Bottomless Mugs that entitle the holder to free coffee, tea or fountain soda for the rest of 2012.
