HONG KONG. Airport Authority Hong Kong today announced today the tender results for four catering outlets at the Departures Hall, non-restricted area of Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
Among the four dining outlets, The Peak Lookout and Tsui Wah Restaurant will be open to airport users in Q4 2012 (tentatively) while Maxim’s Jade Garden and Le Grande by Pokka Café is scheduled tentatively for opening in Q2 2013.

HKIA currently houses more than 80 dining outlets. The new offers, which were awarded via an open tender that aroused great market interest, according to Airport Authority Hong Kong, will add greater diversity to an already wide food & beverage choice, it said
Renowned for its fresh seafood, The Peak Lookout offers not only a menu with a wide variety of Western-style choices, but also a sit-down dining venue in an atmosphere of relaxation and elegance with a warm welcome and friendly service.
Established in 1967, upholding the core value of “˜efficient, exquisite and desirable’, Tsui Wah Restaurant adds Hong Kong flavour to the airport as well as healthy and wholesome ingredients, which are used for preparing Hong Kong Cha Chen Teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) signature dishes such as milk tea, crispy buns served with sweet condensed milk, fish balls and fish cake with rice noodles in fish soups and many other options.

Carrying on the strong heritage for quality Yum Cha and dinner gathering, Maxim’s Jade Garden, a new brand from Maxim’s Group offers a wide variety of dim sum served from traditional dim sum trolleys. It also offers classic Cantonese dishes such as barbecued specialties, braised king prawns and abalone with no MSG added, to preserve the true flavor of ingredients. Maxim’s Jade Garden will bring a premium dining experience for good value to local and foreign diners, the authority said.

The restaurant also offers VIP function rooms which can be reserved for business meetings and private parties. A special area will be designated as a Members’ Lounge so that Pokka Members can enjoy a privileged place inside the airport to enjoy a cup of Pokka coffee and other benefits.
