AUSTRALIA. Airport Retail Enterprises (ARE) has added The Common to its dining options at Brisbane Airport, claiming that with its light, modern décor it is “set to be one of the most instagrammable airport restaurants in Australia”.
The Domestic Terminal Level 2 restaurant, which will open to the public next week, features all-day breakfast and brunch, tapas, share plates, and the airport’s largest cocktail menu.
Brisbane Airport Corporation Executive General Manager Commercial Martin Ryan said he is proud of the partnership with ARE as the company continues to deliver innovative and quality F&B options.
“We are incredibly excited with the addition of The Common to our Domestic Terminal, as it offers an exciting menu and an atmosphere that we know passengers will love.
“It is an exciting time to welcome another store to the Brisbane Airport family. With passenger numbers continuing to grow, consumer confidence is undeniably returning and there is a real energy and buzz that can be felt when you are in the terminal.”
Airport Retail Enterprises CEO John Chapman commented: “The Brisbane team took the time during COVID to develop the flavour profile of this menu and I am excited to share the results with staff and customers in the terminal.
“Today’s opening marks yet another step in the recovery of our business and the industry after a tough couple of years.”
ARE operates a number of other F&B stores onsite including Coffee Royal, Merlo, Graze Grill & Bar, Mezze ZaZa, New Farm Confectionary, Newstead Brewery, and Seeds by Bruno Loubet.
