Airports Council International Asia-Pacific adds Middle East to title

ASIA PACIFIC/MIDDLE EAST. Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific has been remaned ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East. The association said the new name demonstrates its commitment to inclusivity and to elevating the role of the Middle East territory within the global aviation ecosystem.

Introducing the change in a note to members, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Director General Stefano Baronci (pictured above alongside the new association logo) said: “The change in the association’s name reflects our commitment to expanding our reach and engaging with airports across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

“By including the Middle East in the title, we will be better positioned to help our members access the latest industry developments and best practices and provide them with the necessary resources to make their airports more competitive and sustainable.

“Additionally, this new name will help create a stronger and more unified identity for our association, further strengthening us as a powerful voice of Asia-Pacific & Middle East airports.”

ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, along with ACI World, is a partner with The Moodie Davitt Report in The Trinity Forum, due to be held in Hong Kong on 25-26 October. ✈
