THAILAND. Airports of Thailand (AoT) has announced the tender for the operation of the duty free pick-up counter at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.
The auction documents for the long-term contract, which will run from 1 October 2022 until 31 December 2032, were released today (20 January) and will be available for THB 1 million (US$32,991) until 31 January.

After this, details will be clarified on the morning of 4 February before a tour of the facilities later that day.
Submissions for the concession can then be made on 13 March between 9am and 11am with presentations due to take place on 16 March.
AoT will then announce the highest bidder on 17 March.
As reported, King Power International has already been approved for the concession to operate the duty free stores at Don Mueang Airport.
