US. Baltic Amber, through its duty free agent ALFA Brands, will present its range of electroplated leaves at the upcoming IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas (Stand number: 530).
New to travel retail, the company is hoping to target women with its collection of real leaves preserved in 24k gold, silver and copper.
Created through a plating process, each leaf is first handpicked and then hand painted with a copper-based paint. Once the natural surface of the lead is coated with copper metal, Baltic Amber is able to electro form 24k gold, silver or copper onto the leaves.
The result is a “unique, handcrafted piece of wearable art that comes from nature,” said ALFA Brands.
