All Blacks scent success with new Bvlgari fragrance launch

Your face wears the marks of age
As a warrior his
moko,
Double the beauty,
A soul like the great albatross
– James K Baxter

To coincide with the Rugby World Cup in the UK, Bvlgari is introducing two new limited-edition fragrances inspired by the world champion All Blacks New Zealand rugby team: Bvlgari Man in Black All Blacks and Bvlgari Man Extreme All Blacks 2015.

Bvlgari plans to make its mark with a promotional stand offering free tattoos at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. Visitors to the stand will be offered a free henna tattoo inspired by the Maori culture. Expert tattoo artists from The Henna Den will be there on selected days from 5 October to 6 November between 9am and 1pm.

From 5 to 18 October rugby fans can also enter a contest to win an All Blacks jersey signed by the famous New Zealand team. Fans can enter by taking a photo of themselves embodying the new face of the Bvlgari Man using the photo booth at the stand.

Concentrated strength: (Left to right) ‘Men in Black’ Conrad Smith, Liam Messam and Keven Mealamu model the new fragrance lines

The perhaps unlikely sounding alliance between these two icons came about when both institutions celebrated their 130th anniversary in 2014. The All Blacks limited editions are higher concentrations of the original fragrances, increased in strength and potency in honour of the (so far) all-conquering rugby team.

A tattoo is lacquered onto the black bottle of Man in Black All Blacks and the silver bottle of Man Extreme All Blacks. The bottle designs pay homage to the Maori tradition of ‘Tā moko’ (permanent body and facial tattooing), a symbol of virility and strength.

Both edp intense limited editions are available in 100ml, each priced at £63.20 in travel retail.
