UK. Alpha LSG has bolstered its senior leadership team with two key appointments. Richard Wood has joined as Managing Director to lead Alpha LSG’s London Heathrow business while Paul Gurnell is named UK Sales and Marketing Director. Both report directly to CEO Alex Forbes.
Wood was most recently was Site Director at Dairy Crest’s largest UK operation where he held profit and loss responsibility for a £300 million turnover business.
He takes responsibility for all activities within Alpha LSG’s Heathrow business and will focus on delivering the next phase of its business strategy.
Gurnell, who has worked for Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline and most recently Amazon, will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s UK business development as well as its sales and marketing strategy. He will also be based at London Heathrow.
Gurnell’s previous role was Head of Vendor Management for one of Amazon’s key business accounts. Previously he was Director of Consulting at Kantar Retail.

Alpha LSG Ltd is a UK-only joint venture by Alpha Flight Group and LSG Sky Chefs, with combined revenues of more than £300 million a year.
