Amy Wilson will help to drive The Hershey Company’s growth in Europe travel retail |
The Hershey Company has promoted Amy Wilson to Team Lead Europe and Strategy for World Travel Retail, responsible for driving Hershey’s travel retail expansion in Europe.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science and a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Information Systems, Wilson brings a wealth of knowledge on the travel retail and confectionery industries to her new role.
She has over 12 years of experience with The Hershey Company including various roles of increasing responsibility within the Global Supply Chain and Category Strategy and Insights organisations. Most recently, she was the Manager of Category Insights and Retail Excellence for Hershey World Travel Retail.
“Europe is the largest confection market in travel retail and offers significant growth potential for Hershey over the next few years,” the company noted. Wilson’s insights-driven approach to collaborating with retailers will be a significant asset to growing Hershey’s travel retail business and the confectionery category in the channel, it added.
Her expanded responsibilities will include strategy development, leveraging actionable insights to grow the category and building business partnerships to drive growth in Europe travel retail.
Reporting directly to Wilson will be The Hershey Company Business Manager Europe Marina Steel.
