Exclusive: Ice Cuvée Rosé sparkling Icewine contains 100ml Cabernet Franc |
CANADA. Leading Canadian wine producer Andrew Peller Limited has introduced Ice Cuvée Rosé sparkling Icewine to Canadian travel retail stores.
The new product was launched from April 2009 exclusively into Canadian duty free via IntraBrands Inc, following its introduction at the Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) convention in January.
Ice Cuvée Rosé, a line extension of the company’s successful Ice Cuvée sparkling wine made with hand-picked Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, received a “great response” at the FDFA show, according to Andrew Peller Limited Sales Manager, the Americas & Asia, Steve Carter.
Packaged in a pale pink gift box with gold-coloured edging, each bottle of Ice Cuvée Rosé contains 100ml of Cabernet Franc. The new rosé version will retail just above the original Ice Cuvée, which is priced at C$26.95.
