Carolina Herrera’s best-selling sunglasses model is flying onboard the world’s leading airlines |
UK. Gift supplier Market Connections reports “phenomenal” growth and inflight listings for its Carolina Herrera sunglasses range.
Following this success, eyewear company Inspecs Limited has appointed Market Connections to represent its new Caterpillar sunglasses range in travel retail worldwide.
According to Market Connections Managing Director and President Andrew Wright, the Carolina Herrera brand has achieved 45 listings in two years, making it one of the fastest-growing sunglasses brands in the inflight market.
Airlines carrying the line include British Airways, Iberia, TAP Air Portugal, Etihad Airways, Aeroflot, Finnair, South African Airways, Virgin Atlantic, ThomsonFly and Thomas Cook.
Explaining why the product has performed well onboard, Jessica Wright, Market Connections’ new International Sales and Marketing Manager, said: “The key to success now is the model design and pricing, rather than the brand itself. Our designs are now tremendously popular and hugely commercial.”
To accommodate Market Connections’ expansion, a new branch office has opened in Reading, Berkshire.
Jessica Wright, who recently joined the family team as International Sales and Marketing Manager, previously worked as an Account Manager in a large PR agency in London, where she was responsible for well-known clients such as John Lewis, Laura Ashley, British catwalk designer Jenny Packham, Toast, Petit Bateau and Nougat.
