Arden adds new moisturiser to Prevage portfolio – 03/09/09

Prevage gets protective with new SPF30 moisturiser

US. Elizabeth Arden has expanded its Prevage anti-ageing portfolio with a new treatment, Prevage Day Ultra Protection Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF30. It will be introduced from October, priced domestically at around US$125 for 50ml.

It is described as the first ever moisturiser to contain both high level SPF protection and Idebenone, claimed to be the most powerful and effective antioxidant available on the market today.

“You absolutely should not leave the house in the morning without Prevage Day,” declared Elizabeth Park, Executive Vice President Global Marketing and General Manager Elizabeth Arden US. “It’s not enough to only use sunscreen. Sunscreen with SPF alone doesn’t protect against every environmental free radical that can cause skin damage.”

She added: “Prevage Day marks the first time in the history of prestige skincare that one product combines the most powerful antioxidant available, Idebenone, with broad-spectrum sunscreens for the maximum in daily environmental protection, helping to both prevent the visible signs of aging and improve the appearance of sun damaged skin. With the introduction of Prevage Day as a daily moisturiser, Prevage now offers a complete regimen for its consumers.”

Prevage Day has been endorsed by The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation Program. It is also clinically, dermatologist and sensitive-skin tested.
