INTERNATIONAL. Leading travel retailer ARI is celebrating International Women’s Day (8 March) with a special campaign including a homepage makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report.
International Women’s Day is a day of collective global activism which celebrates women’s achievements and urges the world to call for a gender equal future. The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. Its mission is to inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion across all aspects of life.
ARI Chief People Officer Siobhan Griffin commented: “At ARI, we strive to inspire others to value and understand the importance of women’s inclusion so that we can create a sense of belonging and empowerment for women.”
ARI General Counsel, Executive Sponsor for DE&I Gareth Byrne added: “We aim to promote a culture of inclusivity and equality for women in our workplace. Ultimately our goal is to work together towards building a better world for all.”
In addition, ARI has released an inspiring video to showcase its efforts to inspire inclusion across the company. The video features employees from across ARI’s vast global network, encompassing 13 countries and 27 cities worldwide, who each pledge to inspire inclusion, in their various native languages.
ARI has pledged to inspire inclusion not just on International Women’s Day but all year round. In a joint campaign with The Moodie Davitt Report, the retailer is encouraging the industry to join their pledge by including their digital signatures on the page below. ✈
