GERMANY. German cigar company Arnold André has launched the new Sweet Chocolate Cigarillos under its Handelsgold brand.
The new flavour is an addition to the Handelsgold Sweets portfolio which includes taste variations such as Peach, Cherry, Vanilla and Classic.
Handelsgold Sweet Chocolate Cigarillos comes with a sweetened mouthpiece, a chocolate aroma and is packaged in dark wrapper. Sold in a pack of five, the product has a range of merchandising options, including the large Handelsgold Tower or the Handelsgold dispenser, the counter display or the shelf.
Arnold André has reported a tripling in international sales since the introduction of Handelsgold Sweets, attributing its success to the attractive price, range of aromas and striking presentation at the POS.
Demand for the range is particularly high in the Netherlands, Sweden, Greece and Eastern Europe, and Austrians and the Swiss have also acquired a taste for them, the company claimed.
