Art & Fragrance to be renamed as Lalique Group

Art Fragrance 2Following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week in Zürich, Art & Fragrance SA has announced it is to rename the Group holding company as Lalique Group SA.

The beauty segments, perfume and cosmetics, will continue under a new sub-holding company, to be called Art & Fragrance SA.

According to the company, the Lalique brand was responsible for 67% of the Group’s total revenue in 2015. It is hoped that the name change will focus attention onto the portfolio’s main brand and raise the profile of the Lalique brand in the international market.

From 1 July 2016, the new stock symbol of the company will become LLQ (previously ARTN). The renamed Group will continue to be listed on the BX Berne eXchange.

Art & Fragrance ended the 2015 financial year with a consolidated net profit of €8.5 million, building on the €5.3 million profit achieved in 2014.

The company said that Silvio Denz (Chairman), Roland Weber, Marc Roesti, Roger van der Weid and Claudio Denz will remain in their positions on the Board of Directors for another year.
