Asia and Middle East traffic grows sharply at Paris airports in January

FRANCE. Aéroports de Paris handled 6.7 million passengers in January, up by +2.1% on the same month last year. Of these, 4.7 million travelled through Paris Charles de Gaulle (+2.5%) and 2 million through Paris Orly (+1.2%).

By region, European traffic grew strongest in the month, climbing by +4.3% over January 2014.

Long-haul international routes posted +0.7% traffic growth. Within this, Asia Pacific routes grew by +4.5%, Middle East by +4.1%, Latin America +2.9%, North America +0.6%, with Africa down by -2.2% and French Overseas Territories down -2.8%.

Traffic at TAV Airports, 38% owned by AdP, rose by +9.5% in the month.
