TÜRKIYE. ATÜ Duty Free, the partnership between TAV Airports and the Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann joint venture, has unveiled a refurbished and expanded duty-free store at Milas-Bodrum Airport.
Located on the departures floor of the International Terminal, the 1,900sq m store features a walkthrough concept with sustainable architecture.
It has been expanded by 530sq m following the incorporation of a fashion and accessories store, which adds to existing duty-free categories including fragrances, cosmetics, toys, sweets, spirits and tobacco. The shop features regional and local category sections.
Decorative elements reflect characteristics of the southern Türkiye region, including a travertine stone façade, a masonry stone wall and wooden sun shades.
In a post on LinkedIn, ATÜ Duty Free said: “Our main store in Bodrum is designed to provide a comfortable and privileged shopping experience for all our passengers, with a 100% walkthrough concept in line with the flow of passengers on the departure floor. The store has a modern interior design with furniture that is in compliance with a sustainability approach.”
Milas-Bodrum Airport is one of the top ten busiest airports in Türkiye. ✈
