NEW ZEALAND. Auckland Airport has introduced an online car park booking system designed to provide airport customers with a wide choice of attractive deals.
Auckland Airport General Manager Retail and Commercial Adrian Littlewood said: “Parking at the airport is an extremely competitive market, and we are constantly looking for ways to provide a better service and greater choice.
“We are pleased to announce that this week we have introduced a new online option, giving customers the ability to book and pre-pay online, ensuring their parking space is guaranteed.”
Those wanting to park at the airport can go to www.aucklandairport.co.nz and enter their travel dates and times on a quick quote calculator to be presented with a range of options. After choosing their preferred option, they can pay using a credit card. A confirmation is emailed to the customer confirming the reservation details and the parking spot is guaranteed.
On arrival at the car park, the customer can use their credit card to enter or exit the car park. “It’s a very easy and seamless process,” Littlewood said.
Some alluring deals are being offered for the launch of the new service including up to -50% saving on drive up rates. For example a customer could park right at the terminal for NZ$49 for seven days or NZ$39 for the whole weekend, depending on availability at time of booking.
