UK. Avolta has inaugurated Alembic, its first food & beverage operation at Bristol Airport, UK, marking a new chapter in the company’s long-standing partnership with the west country gateway.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, which followed an earlier soft opening, builds on Avolta’s strong retail presence at Bristol Airport via a combination of duty-free and general retail outlets.
The addition of Alembic reflects the company’s strategy to offer an integrated mix of retail and F&B experiences at key airport locations, combining the strengths of its global portfolio under one roof.

Alembic is among Avolta’s newest premium restaurant concepts, with Bristol Airport representing its second location following a successful debut at East Midlands Airport in the UK earlier this year,
Alembic features a Mediterranean-inspired menu built around seasonal ingredients, offering an array of fresh, flavourful dishes served throughout the day.
The drinks menu showcases the richness of local sourcing, offering a line-up of craft coffee, spirits and cocktails featuring products from regional producers, including rum, gin, whisky, and more.
Avolta Senior Coordinating Director F&B & Essentials UK Beth Brewster commented, “We’re proud to expand our partnership with Bristol Airport with the launch of Alembic, our first F&B operation at this location.
“Alembic represents everything we stand for at Avolta: creating enriching, seamless experiences that delight travellers and strengthen our partnerships with airports. We look forward to welcoming guests and sharing this exciting new concept with everyone flying through Bristol.”
Bristol Airport Head of Retail Kate Gwyther said, “We are delighted to welcome Avolta to Bristol Airport and to officially open Alembic, which is already proving a popular choice with customers, as it’s offering something a little bit different with its Mediterranean-inspired menu.
“It also serves more traditional breakfasts and plant-based options. Customers can also enjoy a wide range of locally sourced drinks including coffee and seasonally inspired mocktails and cocktails, as well as classic favourites, in an inviting environment.”
