BAA styles Reiss boutique opening at Stansted – 19/05/08

BAA’s Reiss store opening at Stansted builds on an already successful relationship forged at Heathrow T3 and T5

UK. Reiss, which aims to become a global fashion brand, opened its latest airport store on 16 May at London Stansted showcasing its Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

The 1,188sq ft store is designed to meet the needs of the busy business traveller with an exclusive collection featuring items from tailored suits to elegant dresses for evenings out.

Clothes in trend-setting colours are displayed in a free-flowing store design with neutral decor to create a boutique-like feel.

To maintain high standards of customer service, 10 knowledgeable staff are on-hand to assist passengers.

Said BAA Head of Fashion and Fashion Accessories Hazel Curry: “Reiss is a highly established and successful brand in fashion retail. With the success of Reiss in other terminals such as London Heathrow Terminal 3 and newly built Terminal 5, we are delighted to be able to offer our passengers designer-inspired clothing at airport prices. We know that our passengers flying from Stansted won’t be able to resist popping in and buying that must-have new item for him and for her.”

Reiss spokeswoman Emma Whitehair added: “Due to the success of our other airport stores and significant levels of overseas interest, Reiss has opened at Stansted. This is also part of the strategy to develop Reiss into a global brand.”

Clothing-wise, the Spring/Summer look is modern and clean with sportswear, utility and 1980s references. The range includes casual separates and day-wear pieces as well as Reiss’s signature elegant party-wear and slick tailoring.

To meet the needs of male and female airport shoppers, the new Reiss store aims to tailor its offering specifically to Stansted Airport’s frequent flyers and business travellers.
