Cognac house Bache-Gabrielsen is launching a limited-edition to mark the 30th anniversary of working with its master blender Jean-Philippe Bergier.
To celebrate the landmark, Bergier has blended a Cognac named Cercle, which is being limited to 1,000 bottles. For the expression, Bache-Gabrielsen said Bergier collaborated only with winegrowers who produce and distillate their own wine. The name of each supplier is engraved on the bottle.

Bergier said: “Thirty years of exchanges with winegrowers and brokers have fuelled my passion for Cognac and my respect for these men and women who commit to it daily.”
Bache-Gabrielsen General Manager Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen acknowledged the role of his Cognac house’s winemaking partners, describing them as “an essential part of our company”. He added: “Our aim is to promote this to our clients, by showing how important is the participation of our winegrowers in the creation of the blends and the success of our brands.”
As reported, Bache-Gabrielsen is part of Family Brands Alliance – the informal partnership founded by German spirits company Waldemar Behn to help fellow family-owned drinks firms develop in travel retail.
